2022 Marion County GOP Essay Winners Announced!

The winners of the 2022 Marion County GOP Scholarship Essay contest were announced at a recent Marion County GOP Central Committee meeting.   The winners were Seth Walraven and Seth Van Gelder!  Seth Walraven is the son of Chris and Lorna Walraven.    Seth Van Gelder is the son of Evan and Krista Van Gelder.

Several high school students wrote exceptional essays on a topic selected by the committee.  The two Seths (above) did a particularly exceptional job!

Seth Walraven will be attending DMACC with a focus on Tools and Diemaking.  Seth Van Gelder has enrolled at Dordt University in Business Finance.

Congratulation to these two for their great essays!    Proud parents of the two winners had their picture taken (below) with the Marion County GOP Chairmen Steven Everly.
